Statement of Faith

 

 

 

 

• We believe in the Trinity- God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are one God, and He is the Creator of the entire universe - both in the physical and the spiritual world.

 

• We believe in the incarnation of God - Him becoming flesh in the person of Jesus Christ to reconcile mankind to God.

 

• We believe the word of God is infallible, meaning it was written by the prophets and the apostles by the inspiration of the Spirit of God.

 

• We believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
   

• We believe in baptism by immersion in water as a symbol of dying with Christ and being resurrected together with him as a way of fulfilling all righteousness.  This is done with personal knowledge and choice.

 

• We believe in Jesus Christ being fully God and fully human.  He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit that came upon Mary, the mother of Jesus.

 

• We believe that God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.  He has no beginning or end.

 

• We believe that heaven and hell exist.  Heaven is the holy dwelling place of God, while hell is a place of absolute separation from God.  Hell was designed for Satan, fallen angels, and those who choose to follow the ways of unrighteousness to the end of their lives on earth or those who are found in such a state at the end of the age.
