Future Clinic

Martin Opio, his wife Lydia, and others have begun the construction of a medical clinic in Amoroto.

They hope to start small with services such as malaria tests, a simple pharmacy, and basic cases treated.

The vision is to eventually have staff including 1 lab technician, 2 nurses, and 1 clinic officer.  The local leaders building the clinic hope that community members will be able to pay for the basic services in order to keep the clinic self-sustaining.  We hope the clinic can run independent from outside resources.

However, access to good healthcare remains a huge problem in Uganda.  Preventative care is key.  If you are interested in bringing a team that is able to provide preventative care such as immunizations, please contact us.
